But also... I am conflicted. I wrote a crossover oneshot between Supernatural and my upcoming book, Collision Course, and I want to post it on Update Wednesday, but I know you want more Rehearsing Tragedies. So I thought I could just do a little extra update in between, but I really need to focus on editing CC because it’s being published this year. So, the smart thing to do is post the crossover on 02/26 and post the next chapter of Rehearsing Tragedies on 03/12 and spend the time in between updates editing and getting ahead on chapters so I have even MORE ready to update in the future.
Why am I telling you this? Because I need to know how much you will hate me if I do that. For context, you will be delaying the next chapter of RT to see Dean in a bar two weeks before the Hellhounds come for him where he meets another older brother who, despite having no soul selling in his history, seems to have some of the same thoughts and feelings Dean does.
I would also like to take this moment to say it should be illegal to spend as much time editing as I did only to find I’ve gotten through less than 3,500 words. Illegal.
But I did do a lot of editing, I’ve written almost all of Chapter 8 and some bits of Chapter 9 for RT, I wrote Kindred Spirits (the oneshot), I worked with my sister on designs for the cover for Collision Course, and that’s not even dipping into all the non-writing-related stuff I did! It’s been a very productive weekend, and I hope I can ride this momentum for quite a while.
Thanks for reading, guys! (And seriously, please don’t hate me.)
