...not on the writing front, necessarily, but… anyways, I ordered pens with my logo and website, which… doesn’t really do anything for me other than make me feel special and give me pens to use at work. So. It’s not really an achievement as much as it is a gift to myself.
Wednesday night, we are going to see the first chapter of Want is a Wasting Disease! We’ve seen Xal make a deal with the Winchesters—anything to stay out of Hell, right?—and we’ve seen him fight alongside them. We’ve seen him make the mistake of trusting them—of thinking he’s more than a resource—and we’ve seen him keep up the walls they built even when they save him from certain death. Now Xal is recovering on Bobby’s couch, and we’re bleeding into the outside perspectives. Sam wants to prove he doesn’t see the demon as expendable, and Dean is determined to keep history from repeating itself with a new Ruby. Castiel is… confused, intrigued, and hoping things will make sense if he stares intensely enough. Bobby doesn’t like seeing the same behaviors in Xal he used to exhibit himself when face-to-face with his father. And to make matters worse, a certain monarch of specific intersections is about to force his way into the mix and scatter the pieces across the board. I hope you’ll tune in, and if you can’t make up your mind based solely on this tantalizing paragraph, check out the five oneshots that come before this story.
Rehearsing Tragedies is going strong, and I’m about a third of the way through Chapter 8! On 02/12/2025, you’ll be getting Chapter 7, and I’m hoping I’ll have some fanart to show you by then, but I’m not about to pester my brother. He’s doing it for fun, for free, for me, and I’m not about to take advantage. (Which would be so easy because he’s the sweetest young man to ever walk this planet. I am biased, of course, but is it really a bias when you’re right?)
Thanks so much for reading and supporting, guys!
