I think the biggest undertaking of this weekend was starting at the beginning of Rehearsing Tragedies (Slave!Castiel) and editing the first 50 pages, fixing some continuity errors and doing basic proofreading. I made Castiel more talkative in the first chapter because I initially wrote him as this silent and seething slave, but as the story continued, he evolved into more of a spitting threats and arguing at every turn slave, and I like that Castiel better. I made some other changes, but long story short, I really like how it’s turning out, and I’m anxious to finish up with Through the Gate so I can move on to this story.

Speaking of Through the Gate (Criminal Minds x Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), it was updated on 7/10/2024, and it was the story I was working on during my lunch breaks through the week. I pecked at it a little more this weekend, and I got the next chapter done, so that will be posted on 07/17/2024.

I also worked on Sparkling Eyes and Cigarette Burns as we get closer to a conclusion, and we are up to 2,800 words written of Chapter 20. I’m thinking I might have a chapter to post on 07/24/2024, but I make no promises at this time.

I also (unexpectedly) got some work done on my latest Depressed!Sam story, and it’s interesting because I usually write Dean as this super supportive individual who gets on board with the depression diagnosis pretty quickly, but not in this one. Dean is not having any of the mental health anything, and you want to be mad at him, but he’s literally just terrified and doesn’t understand how to process things in a healthy way (because he’s Dean Winchester), and he’s lashing out. They both just need so much therapy.

As always, I’m still looking for ARC readers, and I’m going to posting more about that throughout the week! I have scheduled Cataclysm to publish on 09/15/2024, so it should be on Goodreads shortly. It just needs a few, final touches, and then we’ll be good to go!

I know this was a long one, so thanks for sticking with me!
