New Year, New Writing

It’s a new year, and I am determined to do even more writing this year than I did last year!

First things first, I made a tumblr account! I will be blogging there and sharing much of the same stuff I share here, but it might be in a format you like better.

As far as stories go, today I updated Sparkling Eyes and Cigarette Burns, which is over halfway done! For those unfamiliar, this story is about Sam adopting (read: kidnapping with good intentions) a young boy during the four months Dean was in Hell. SECB is the sequel to Bright Smiles and Bloody Lips, which is where the story began.

Coming up this week, When the Blood Stains Dry! It’s a Season 4 Supernatural story about Dark!Dean giving in to the urges born in Hell. If you want a full summary, you can go here. Lord willing, I will post the first chapter on Wednesday, January 10th, and then continue updating it every Wednesday that follows.

Another story on the list I posted a month or so ago was Awesome Mix Vol. 1, which is a Guardians of the Galaxy story about Peter Quill growing up with the Ravagers. I wrote another chapter this week, bringing me to 11,548 words. I’ve got five chapters to go, but as I mentioned before, the chapters are small.

Lastly, my mom has begun giving my novel, Cataclysm, the final edit! She’s gotten through the first ten chapters, so she’s making some pretty good process, and the plan is to publish the book later this year.
